Additional API Terms & Guidelines
Last Updated: February 8, 2026By using specific Workiza.ai APIs (such as the Job Sync API, Candidate Import API, or Agent Status API), you agree to these Additional Terms.
1. Security & Authentication
- OAuth Compliance: You must register a separate OAuth application for each integration. You may not share Client IDs or Secrets between different applications.
- Encryption: All data in transit must be encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest must be protected using industry-standard encryption (e.g., AES-256).
- Credential Protection: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API credentials. You must notify Workiza.ai immediately of any unauthorized use.
2. Job Sync & Data Freshness
If you use the API to sync job listings or candidate data:
- Real-Time Updates: You must send updates to Workiza.ai immediately (within 15 minutes) when a job is closed, filled, or expires on your system.
- Accuracy: You verify that all data sent to Workiza.ai (job descriptions, salaries, locations) is accurate and up-to-date.
- No Test Data: You agree not to push "test" or "dummy" jobs to the production environment.
3. Rate Limits & Quotas
- Standard Limits: API access is subject to rate limits (e.g., 100 requests per minute) as defined in the technical documentation.
- Excessive Use: We reserve the right to throttle or block your application if your usage negatively impacts the performance of the Workiza.ai Platform.
4. Data Protection (GDPR/CCPA)
- Controller/Processor: To the extent you process personal data via the API, you agree to comply with all applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA).
- Consent: You warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents from end-users (candidates or employers) before transmitting their personal data to Workiza.ai.
